Mrs. Garrett, Rebecca’s dance teacher in “Rebecca’s Dream That Wasn’t,” was a real person. She was my first dance teacher. She was as I describe her in the book and I truly adored her.
These are not very good pictures. They are screen shots taken off a home movie from 1960. But they are the only images I have of this wonderful woman. I can’t look at them without smiling. I wish I could share this book with her. She would have been so pleased.
